After being on the market 5 months I finally received a offer on my house, just outside Greenville, SC. So after some negotiation, I took the offer which included purchasing a 3 acre lot on the Village Greens golf course. I am happy that the house is finally sold, I lost a bit of money but it could have been much worse and given the current economy I could have been stuck with the house a lot longer had I not sold it when I did. I will try and sell this lot but I am in no hurry. When the house sold my roommate Kristin, who had been living with me since August, found
an Apartment in the Lofts of Greenville (http://www.theloftsofgreenville.com/), she has agreed to rent a room to me until the End of February. So after a busy 3 weeks, I packed up the house, sold or gave away most of my stuff and put the rest in storage. I am finally al moved into my apartment at the Lofts. So now that the House is Sold Freedom Thirty Five (FTF) can officially begin. I have decided that I will begin my full time travel Feb 28th, 2011. I will use my time over the next few mnths to continue working on a contract basis to save more money and plan my trip. I have made arrangements to have someone get my mail, get AAA insurance, get the car ready, pack and work out where I am going to go on my trip. It's going to be a busy 3 months, but very exciting.
